I didn't expect a brush that I could use for everything, but one that was perfect for contouring.
Firstly, I need to mention that when I got this, it stunk terribly of formaldehyde (or whatever chemical, definitely not healthy stuff is used in Primark). I washed it a few times - and it lost a few hairs - and now only a little bit of that smell is left.
So far, I wasn't impressed or happy at all.
As the brush set I ordered had really soft bristles, I expected this one to have ultra soft bristles as well - it didn't. It doesn't have really hard brushes, but they are just not that soft. Until this day, I still haven't figured out if I love or hate this brush.
What I like about it you ask? The shape. It is just PERFECT for contouring and fits perfectly under the cheekbone. It even blends the colour (I use NYX's "Taupe" blusher) out so nicely that I prefer it over my super-soft Real Techniques contour brush, which I love. Maybe it is because of those not-so-soft hair?
As you see, I have a really strong love and hate relationship with this one. It is perfect for contouring, but the smell was disgusting and the bristles aren't as soft as I would like them to be.
Other people seem to have a different feeling about the bristles, so maybe I just got a bad product?
I don't know. You have to make your choice, but for $3,50 on the BH cosmetics website, I would say: go for it!
An alternative which looks similar in shape (but I don't own) is the Zoeva Face Shape Brush.

Als ich bei BH Cosmetics bestellt habe, gab es einen Pinsel, der mir sofort ins Auge sprang: der Allzweck-Pinsel.
Der Name passt nicht so ganz, denn ich erwartete keinen Pinsel für alles, sondern einen zum Konturieren.
Zuerst ist mir aufgefallen, dass der Pinsel ganz schlimm nach Formaldehyd (oder irgendeiner anderen Chemikalie, die man auch im Primark riecht) gestunken hat. Ich habe den Pinsel gewaschen, wobei er ein paar Haare verlor, und jetzt stinkt er nur noch wenig. Ich schätze, ganz werde ich den Geruch nicht raus kriegen.
Mein anderes Pinselset von BH Cosmetics hat wirklich schöne, weiche Haare, doch dieser hier hat eher festere Haare - nicht total kratzig, wie diese 1€ Pinsel, aber auch nicht so weich wie andere. Bis jetzt weiß ich nicht, ob ich den Pinsel liebe oder hasse.
Was ich an ihm mag? Die Form. Der Pinsel ist einfach PERFEKT zum Konturieren und passt auch perfekt unter meinen Wangenknochen. Er verblendet die Farbe (ich benutze NYX' "Taupe" zum Konturieren) super schnell, sodass ich den Pinsel sogar noch mehr mag als den Real Techniques Contour Brush, und ich liebe diesen Pinsel! Vielleicht liegt das an diesen nicht ganz so weichen Haaren?
Wie man sieht, habe ich eine Hass-Liebe für diesen Pinsel entwickelt. Er ist klasse zum Konturieren, aber der Gestank war doof und die Haare sind nicht so weich, wie ich sie gerne hätte.
Auf der amerikanischen Website gibt es fast nur positive Reviews, also habe ich vielleicht einfach ein Montagsprodukt erwischt? Ich hätte ihn umtauschen können, aber irgendwie mag ich ihn doch zu sehr.
Für einen Preis von aktuell 5,21€ auf www.bhcosmetics.de würde ich aber sagen: probieren geht über studieren! Notfalls kann man ihn ja umtauschen.
Eine Alterntive könnte der Zoeva Face Shape Pinsel sein, welchen ich aber nicht besitze.
Habt ihr schon irgendwas von BH Cosmetics ausprobiert?
